ART · BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
A brownstone with an expansive art-world view.
Welancora Gallery represents an intergenerational group of artists from its Bedford-Stuyvesant brownstone. Exhibitions, scholarly catalogues, and relationships with collectors and institutions sit within its practice. The gallery’s scale gives its program a close connection to place, while art-fair presentations extend that conversation to wider audiences.
About the founder
Ivy N. Jones founded Welancora, which began full-time operations in 2014. Her approach combines a community-oriented setting with sustained support for artists and their work.
